Sara Seidel has been working in the design industry since 2004, with a predominant focus on product design, consumer packaged goods, line development, and illustration. She has collaborated with multiple well-known advertising agencies, worked for Natural Life Gifts, and was a lead designer and trend research artist for TERVIS, a highly recognizable leisure drinkware brand. There, she created several seasonal lines of designs and hundreds of high volume licensing designs for companies such as Sanrio (HELLO KITTY), Peanuts, Dr. Seuss, Disney, The Grateful Dead, Hallmark, MLB, NHL, and NFL, resulting in multimillion-dollar sales and brand awareness.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of North Florida in 2004. In that time, she received a scholarship to study abroad for a semester in France, Spain and Portugal, studying political art and its impact on cultural identity. Shortly after graduating, she received a work-study scholarship at Penland School of Arts in North Carolina and completed a residency in fine metals/ jewelry design in 2005.
Sara displays a whimsical attention to detail, has a highly attuned eye for identifying trends and eras, and is a color enthusiast. She enjoys traveling the world, learning about new cultures, spending time with friends and family, walking around and taking pictures of beautiful hidden textures, studying the arts, and midnight sketching. She also loves to run, bike and plan hiking trips.
